Inheritance does not constitute or convey membership. You must be an active DAR member to apply for inheritance.

All fees are non-refundable.

Acknowledgements

Only active members can inherit patriots.

Verification of eligibility may take up to 60 days. Inheritance of a Patriot on a recently approved application will be available once added to the descendants database, which may take up to 6 months.

Patriots with flagged with service/lineage issues can not be inherited.

I will not order ancestor pins until the inherited patriots show up on my record in the GRS.
